Very much my taste!

Have you thought of joining ArtBlogs4u (link in my site) by the way?

Marty,

Every time I see one of your images, I respond: "oh, one of my favorites!" I love the range of blue in this one and I love the variation in dark, like the nap on velvet. But what really "gets" me are the ribbons of green. They are like little bits of spirit determined to speak.

Jafa & Robin,
Thank you so much for your poetic comments! This started out with one of my 'failed' colour-shaper-cutting-through-paint pieces I had done months ago. I added some Shiva paintstiks in the 'grooves', cut it apart & reassembled it, cut out some shapes with an Xacto knife & backed it up with a 'failed' sheet of chromium oxide green. Two failures equaled 1 success - I have to keep reminding myself that patience & sometimes a change in attitude are essential to my process.
